Well I haven't been to the Mermaid in a while so I thought I would stop by. It's kind of a shame i can't really say anything has changed much for the better. In fact as the place ages it's probably getting worse, as the building at least used to be somewhat clean. The bathroom is getting really bad, but that's not why you go anyway.

I guess drink prices are OK as far as strip clubs go, although this is really more of a bikini bar, no bare tits are seen on stage. I think beers were $5 or 2 for $9. Drinks are 2 for 1 and ran around $5, pretty cheap.

It's always been about the girls there, and mostly the back room. I noted it went up to $40 room fee from $35, but still includes a drink for the "member" and one for the girl. I went back with Paula, who I considered to be the best of the 6-7 dancers there that day. There was one other large size Latina that looked interesting, but she never came around much or out of her chair. The other 4 or 5 were not worth a private time to me.
