Was passing through Rockford and stopped downtown but the clubs I used to visit were all closed. Had heard of State Street Station before but never been in it. As you first enter the club almost looks like a maze in 3-D with an open set of stairs just to the right of the bar that leads to a mid level stage and then splits in to 2 stairs going in opposite directions to a second floor where there is another bar and 2 more stages. Dancers start on the 2nd floor stage and do a couple songs and rotate through all 3 stages. There are nooks and crannies behind the stairs with small tables and some video gaming which is different for a club like this. It is bikini only but dancers aren't shy about showing skin when you tip at the stage. Private dances are offered in a lower level room with about 6 couches around the walls and the dancers are $20 each and they aren't shy about grinding against you and touching. I had several dances from a cute petite light skinned mixed girl who had her hand in my crotch almost the whole time (even when I would tip at the mid-level stage where she could discreetly rub against me and stroke me. About half the dancers were black and some were bigger and a few white blondes and a couple brunettes. Since it's pretty much the only place in town it wasn't bad if you don't want to have to drive a few hours.
