As a long-time patron of this...
As a long-time patron of this club (and fan), I wanted to chime in with my review of the newly remodeled Industrial Strip. As many of you probably already know, IS's new showroom floor is less than a week old (as of this writing) and was modeled after Cheetah's in Las Vegas. Additional private dance rooms are still under substantial construction, but supposedly will more than double the available seating currently available upstairs. My general impression of the new IS is mixed. I agree that the new stage and seating areas LOOK nicer than the old stages and seats (which were really junky), but I think "IS" miscalculated in that the new set up looks very cramped and is difficult to navigate -- for everyone. I was recently there on a mildly busy week night and, even then, it is not easy for the girls (or the patrons) to walk around with ease. Basically, the main showroom is now too small -- and will likely be unbearable on weekends when even the larger, more open floorplan-wise original showroom got really packed. Having said that, the new chairs are much more comfortable, the stage looks fairly nice and the reasons to go to IS still remain: high quality, high contact laps with some pretty hot girls to choose from. Dances are still $55 for 3 song sets and offer some of the highest mileage anywhere. The selection the night I went wasn't as great as in the past, but was still decent. The much anticipated revamping of IS is a little bit of a disappointment, but this is still a good club and among the best you'll find in the Midwest.
