Bishops is a Bridgeport institution. I'm usually an afternoon visitor but opted to check out the evening shift. The afternoon has some regular talent that you get to know over time and service is friendly and good. Evenings being more convenient for me , I've tried on occasion to find a similar comfort level. Sadly this visit had the same result. The "crowd" that visits during the evening borders on threatening. The talent at night is mostly hard on the eyeballs. They also have no interest or ability to have any kind of conversation. It's just "What will you pay and can we get it over with". I think the thuggishness of the crowd keeps the good talent out. The popular day shift girls tell me they won't set foot inside Bishops in the evening. To me it seems like a wasted opportunity for the club which has such a loyal daytime crowd, but over time I've concluded that you just can't change Bridgeport. I'm done trying the night shift.
