Went to this place on a Wednesday afternoon. Large secure parking lot with valet optional. Cover charge was 5 bucks and the hostess was very pleasant and flirtatious. Walked in and there is a hot buffet to the left and the bar to the right. The dance stage is to the right as well but there was no one dancing. The place is kinda close quarters but not a lot of customers at this time but I can imagine it would difficult to move around if a big crowd. Got a beer from the bar 3 bucks so not bad. I assumed it was happy hour but didn't ask. Not a lot of dancers maybe 6 or 7, might have been more but hard to tell. Had a seat in a booth against the wall and waited to see if any one might wonder by. That took all of about a minute. Young lady comes up and asks the usual would you like some company. She wasn't the best looking in the bar but certainly not ugly and was pleasant enough. I invited her to join me and offers to buy her a drink she just wanted a water. Same typical chit chat, have you been here before, are you from Houston. I told her both to know and she asked had I ever been to Joy of Houston. I found that a strange question but assumed she worked there too, and she did. She started right into what was I used to doing at strip clubs and was i interested in the VIP. I went along with the question and answer just see what was on the menu. 300 and a good time guaranteed. I asked more about the VIP and she said it was upstairs in the balcony. Not that private but not very many people up there and we could find a dark corner and be left alone. Sounded kind of iffy so I declined. Did let her give a couple LDs for 20 each, finished my beer and headed back to the hotel. All in all an ok place and would return n a future visit. The pasties are real turn off though. I read what a great strip club town Houston is but other than shear quantity I'm not seeing it.
