Haven't been as impressed with Solid...

Haven't been as impressed with Solid Gold lately. A few of the dancers I really enjoyed in the past aren't around these days, and some of the new girls can be quite pushy. There is nothing I hate more then arriving at a club, grabbing a beer, and having girls asking for dances before you even have a sip. "no thanks, I just go here" does not mean come back in 5 minutes to ask if I'm ready again. I've learned from this past visit that it's likely better to just say "I've got a few particular girls I'm here to see"... of course they always have the comeback of "well why don't you make me a regular". Can't win... it's a game, I know, I'm just finding it more and more of a game at this particular club. That said, it's local, and it's far better then the Hamilton Strip, so it will still be my go-to club if I just want to get out for a beer. Didn't have any dances on this last visit, the few girls I was looking for weren't there.

If you've never been, and are in the area, it's still worth checking out. Weeknights are slow, don't be surprised if you're one of 10 guys in the club. Weekends are busier.
