Been here a few times, weekend...

Been here a few times, weekend and weekday, always after ten. Has the feel of a dive bar- not a posh luxury club, a bit dingy but certainly not disgusting by any means. Cover has always been $3 when I've been there, but it might be different depending on the time. Beers are $4-5, tipping is a dollar a song at the stage, and dances are $15. In short, about as cheap as you're going to get. I've never seen it crowded, never more than about twenty or so patrons, often less. Very relaxed atmosphere, staff is very friendly, never seen anyone get harassed about not tipping or whatever. I checked my phone one time, and they politely asked me not to do so while sitting at the stage, but at the tables is fine. Clientele is pretty chill, some middle-agreed creepers by themselves but mostly groups of young guys, sometimes with a few girls mixed in. Often trashy, but hey, it's Medford.

The girls range from okay to gorgeous, and the less attractive ones are usually the best dancers, so it's a good show either way. Mostly white, but there's always been at least one black dancer when I've been there. They go through a three-song cycle. First song is bikini only, and they'll go up to each person at the stage and get friendly (usually very friendly, especially to the females). Second song is the actual removal of clothing, with little interaction with patrons. The third is transit time as they get dressed, collect their hard-earned greenbacks, and hand it off to the next lovely lady, which always seems a little awkward to me, but I guess it means that process doesn't cut into the next performance. Girls seem a little standoffish offstage, mostly talking with each other or their regulars, but they're nice when you can talk them. Never gotten a bitchy vibe from any of them. Plus side is that you're not constantly getting harassed for dances, which is nice.

If you do get a dance, it's going to vary a little bit depending on who you're with and how comfortable they feel with you. Some will grind all up in your business, while others will keep the touch a little lighter. Never felt pressured to keep going, and I've never been asked for more than the $15 standard charge.
