I visited the Bird on June...

I visited the Bird on June 3rd, and while KU was out of session so I didn't have high expectations, it was still disappointing. Two comments - first, the girls as a group were a bit on the old side, based on past experience. Second, the private dances in the VIP room (you pay I think a $10 cover that gives you access for the evening) weren't nearly as good as in the past. Perhaps it was a bad night, but perhaps management has tightened the rules on contact - several girls seemed to be following the same guidelines. One thing that was a bit creepy - there was a regular, a really heavy guy, who was camped out in the VIP, three or four girls sitting with him - no lap dances (he had no lap). The VIP room has no privacy, just a big (25 by 25) room with chairs and tables, but usually everyone is minding their own business. Still, this is my favorite place in Kansas, and I'll stop in next visit and hope this was just a bad night.
