I agree with a lot of the unfaltering comments left about Sugar’s epically cheffy. I was in San Antonio a few weeks back and after reading about a few of the reviews, decided I’d start out at Sugar’s. It was a Wednesday night so I chose to skip the front area that was heavily populated and sat in the back were there were some open tables. I was informed that there was a $40 table for that area but it came with a bottle of Champaign. The waitress assured me that the ladies would stop by when they saw the ice bucket. O ordered my usual mixed drink as well. The night went down hill from there after depositing the Champaign and my drink, I did not see my waitress for almost an hour. My mixed drink had a chip out of the inside rim and finally had to flag down manager to get it replace. Then the waitress that delivered it tried to charge me for it. I spent about an hour and half total there. Even after tipping several dancers, by standing at the small stages, not one dancer even came over to my table. The only reason I do not rate it lower is because the music was good and other they the heads mounted on the wall, it was a nice club. But you will never catch me in there again. A lot better and friendlier place was PT about three miles east of Sugar’s. A various smorgasboard of all types of women!
