Have been to this place several times over the years, and it seemed to have peaked about ten years ago when it was Bare Necessities. The layout doesn't seem to have changed all that much but the quality of dancers really has. And not for the better.

Stopped in a few times this summer after work to find 4-5 dancers on shift, but none of them particularly attractive and none really with enough personality to make up for it. These girls were all twenty-somethings, so at least there's a bit of a youth factor going on. But the girls don't seem particularly interested in hustling drinks - or putting much effort into non-regulars - so unless you go chasing after them its not really much of a cool hang-out joint, at least in the late afternoon and arly evening. You'd probably get a little more enthusiasm later on in the evening, though I doubt the looks improve much. Bartender is nothing to look at and provides the bare minimum of service.

The only memorable visit was approaching 8 pm on one Friday, when a date and I dropped in for a quick drink. No change in vibe as described above except one young lady who was savvy enough to com over and introduce herself to my date and then to me. Was a very formal introduction, but had we been on the market for a playmate at least there was one dancer in the place who was letting it be known she was interested. As it was, my date wasn't, and while this chick wasn't disgusting or anything she wasn't particularly memorable either. I respected the effort, though.
