After a disappointing visit to Show Palace earlier in the night, we decided to try Riviera on Steinway St, about 10 minutes away. $20 cover charge and one of those most thorough pat downs by security that I've ever received, maybe because it was after midnight?

As per my previous review, I head to the bathroom first to check out its quality. Not as nice as Show Palace's but very good and above average. Attendant could've been friendlier/helpful?

Head to the main area and the place is packed! In comparison to Show Palace, only 15 minutes earlier, this place was like Times Square! You couldn't get to the bar as lines and rows of people surrounded it, so we went to the side bar (no dancers) and got beers at $8 a pop. Didn't get any mixed drinks as they wanted something ridiculous like $16+, we're not in Manhattan here!
