Business took me out to the West Coast and after an uncomfortable plane trip I decided to relax at a local club. I decided to try out VIP; something about their website appealed to me (probably that you could print out a free pass).
Well the club is in what has to be the dumpier part of town. I suspect it's not the best place to be at night (fortunately I was there during the afternoon). Parking is a little complicated. Nearby is a Sears and I made use of their parking lot (I later learned that parking is in back). I entered through what I thought was the main door, on Victory BLVD, the door had been thoughtfully left open to the sidewalk, and walked into something that was probably charming back in the 60's and 70's.
The interior was very dark, there was a big stage in the middle with some sad looking dancer shuffling about, and there was a pack of midgets lined up along the far wall in their wheelchairs, some of them trying to negotiate dances with some of the older dancers on staff.
