Having read TUSCL for many years, I was always intrigued by the Providence Strip Club scene Unfortunately, it was too far away, and so I had to be content with just reading the reviews. I was finally able to get some time off, and since I was going to be in the area to take care if some things, I made sure to stop by Desire to check the club out.

Desire is pretty easy to find...its located nearby the hospital, and is close to a highway exit ramp. Keep alert, and you'll see a large sign pointing out the entrance. The club is smaller than I expected, with a large rectangular stage in the center of the room, and two bars located in front of the stage, but to either side. The club has lots of bar seating, tables and individual chairs, so its easy to find a seat where you'll be comfortable. There are lap dance booths at one end of the club, and the champagne room suites are located to the side of the stage. Since this was my first visit, I didn't get a chance to see club Lust, but it was open while I was there, and I could have gone up, had I been a member.

Drinks were reasonable, and I bought a drink card ($20, but worth $25 in drinks). They were also serving free prime rib plates, and that alone made the trip worthwhile. I ordered one up, and it arrived, fast, hot and delicious.
