I have to say, this was probably one of the most disappointing trips that I have ever taken to a strip club. I came here full of expectations; reviews here and stories from my Canadian friends convinced me that this was the place to go if in the upstate NY area. I actually planned a visit to Niagara Falls just for this reason (well, I went gambling too). After crossing the border late Friday night, I drove to Sundowners from my hotel. Sure, it doesn't look like much on the outside, but I was hoping for "the most beautiful strippers" that I had ever seen. Upon entering, I was immediately disappointed; most, if not all, of the girls were no better than what I could normally see in Texas on a good night. Furthermore, even in the VIP room, most of the girls barely took off their bottoms - I came here to see poon damnit, not some bullshit half-assed dance that I could get back in the states. Grind was OK, not crazy. I'm not Shrek, young enough and I had money to burn, so I don't understand the lack of attention or low contact dances.

I actually have had better in New York and in Texas. I also didn't really care for the clientele; too many rowdy local types that made the experience even less rewarding. Actually, this trip to Sundowners has finally allowed me to come to terms with the fact that the glory days of strip clubs are a thing of the past. No more strip clubs for me, albeit for rare occasions such as birthdays and bachelor parties. In fact, I may just stay the hell out of Canada while I'm at it...
