I went to The Dark Horse at 18:30 on Saturday night. The club sits at an intersection in the unincorporated community of Four Corners. There is a gravel parking lot in front of the building. There was a $5 cover charge paid to the bartender. There is a cover fee on Fridays and Saturdays, while there is free admission on Thursdays. A twelve ounce can of Sincweiser was $5. Shots were $7. A bottle of water was $1. Cans of soda were $3. Red Bulls were $5. Occasionally, when certain beers are not selling well, they will get discounted to $2 per can. Such was the case for Busch on my visit. There is a limited food menu of various finger foods for between $4 and $6. Bar pizzas are $10. Bags of chips are $1. Candy bars are $2.
The DJ booth is on the immediate left as you walk in the door. A pull tab machine and an ATM are to the right. The ATM has a maximum withdrawal of $200 per transaction with a $5 fee. One pool table, one dart board, and five video slot machines are straight ahead as you enter. The bar is on the left wall. The stage is on the right side of the room. The stage has a pole that is about sixteen feet tall and a hanging ring. There were eighteen seats at the stage. The only other seating is at two high top tables or on the twelve bar stools at the bar. The bartender was a tattooed middle-aged woman with big D cup natties. She would occasionally show off her boobs and give some of the regulars Stevies.
The number of dancers working at The Dark Horse on any given night is highly variable. It can be anywhere between one to twelve ladies. Dancers just come in when they want to. Some of the dancers that work here I have also seen dancing at the strip club just outside Winona, Minnesota. The complement of dancers on this Saturday night was small: just three. Dancers picked out their music in the DJ booth and would dance three songs on stage, stripping down to completely nude. Dancers can touch patrons at the stage (ie. shove their breasts in a customer’s face), but customers cannot touch dancers.
–Sinclair Dancer Sheet–
Brooklyn: White, blonde hair, meaty, big booty, heavily tattooed, 4.5.
Kylie: White, red hair, brown eyes, pale white skin, chunky, saggy C cups, tattoo on left thigh, looked 40 years old, 3.
Siri: White, wavy brown hair, brown eyes, small B cups, lower lip pierced, looked about 30 years old, 6.5.
Private dances are $25 per song. Fifteen minute VIP rooms are $90. Half hour VIP rooms are $130. Hour VIP rooms are $220. Both by-the-song lap dances and timed durations take place in a small room on the front wall of the building. There is a black curtain that covers the doorway. Inside are two La-Z Boy style oversized chairs. As long as another dancer and customer are not inside the room at the same time, it is fairly private. The amount of touching permitted is up to the individual dancer. If you can actually find an attractive dancer working here, the VIP room prices are a good value.
This strip club gets more customers and dancers in the fall during hunting season. The Dark Horse is worth checking out if you are hunting or fishing in the area, but I wouldn’t drive any significant distance to visit this strip club. Directly across the road from The Dark Horse lies the roofless, gutted ruins of Baron’s Gentlemens Club if you like exploring abandoned buildings.
