When I first arrived at the place about 10pm there was a back-up with the valet parking. Well I never have heard of this place and was very curious as to what all the hoopla was about. And with a full but tight parking lot, it started to make sense. So after paying my $5.00 cover, I first noticed the large bar squarely in front of me in the middle of the room with two stages off to either side. I took a seat on the side of the bar as to be close to one of the stages. I order a beer and just started to relax when I was hit up by one of the few white dancers in a predominately minority club. I should note that I am white myself. I did not find her very attractive and so I mentioned that I was fine and thanked her for visiting me. Well that apparently wasn’t the right thing to say as she continued to hound me as if I should be paying for her from the very start and no one else. I guess that is where the white part came in.

When I was able to get a break from her, I noticed that many of the girls just weren’t that pretty. Put another way, I have definitely seen better which made me now wonder again, what the heck was all the hoopla about? Later, while I was minding my own business still looking around the place, that dancer came back up to me and again started giving me a hard time but to the next level! By this time an hour has past and since I was so fed up with her and there was nothing much at the place for me anyway, I decided it was time to cut my losses and just go. Maybe it is just me, and others have had great experiences, but I will probably never go back to this place again. Simply put, Follies is just not worth it.
