I'd compare Shakers to a Titilations...

I'd compare Shakers to a Titilations AA farm club. It's equally out of the way, tucked into a nondescript area and parking is mostly no issue. The place is clean and respectable. It more a local bar feel than the Vegas flash Tit's goes for and the clientele is more blue collar than at Tit's. The entertainers are attractive, the club does have standards, and a couple might make it to Tit's dancer floor. All were quite friendly and will spend time with you if you like and not overwhelm you with dollar requests. I'm unsure what exactly I paid for my two beers as I just left the change in front of me and parceled out singles as needed. I dropped $30 over about 90 minutes, no dances, paid some attention to the ballgame. All the girls I saw last night were white or light latinas.

I can't see much going on behind the curtains where lapdances happen. I've had dances there in the past and they were pleasant teases, little more. Last night I was in choirboy mode, not looking for anything beyond oggling flesh and for this Shakers fits the bill nicely. So does Tit's, Clancy's, some others. At times I'm looking for something more and will head to Johnny A's, Secrets or Jiggles. I'm a bit careful about neighborhoods. Secrets is about the edge of where I'll roam.

Shakers is kind of a nomansland for clubs but with a little driving it is possible to spend a few hours and tour a number of clubs, especially if you head east along Rte 80 toward Paterson or south on the Parkway toward Orange/Irvington. I've done this on occasion and find that this restlessness never works for me. Better to find a place, chill, see what comes to you. This pastime is akin to fishing, best to be patient and now and again you get a memorable experience.
