Rating encompasses my last 3 or...

Rating encompasses my last 3 or so trips to the club over the span of about 4 months and is on the Alabama strip club rating scale, meaning no contact in a million years. Same club rating in South Carolina would drop by 3 points.

New since my last review is that Sammy's has gone smoke free due to Jefferson County ordinance, which is fantastic because the low ceilings kept the place a total smog fest in the past. The physical location is basically unchanged, free bountiful parking still in place. Drink prices and strength are the same as any other club as well.

On my last few trips I have noticed a bit of a change in the guard at Sammy's as many of the long time dancers move over to the Furnace. This is both good and bad, good to see new faces but bad in that the level of turnover in the dancers is amazing, you have no idea what you may get on a given weekend. We went a month ago and they had the most attractive crop of dancers since the glory days of about 10 years ago, then went July 27th and the talent was subpar at best. Sammy's always has a variety of ethnic groups represented in the dancers, and they always act like they want to be there, which puts it far in front of the vegetables that dance at the Furnace. There are few enhanced girls there right now, probably 75% of the girls are natural and not many for the Tit loving guy. VIP is available for a price, but its touch and go as in "you touch you go" so I would keep my dollars in my pocket. Overall still a great place to drink and tip, but definately not a destination trip like Platinum or Cheetah.
