I was in Vegas with some time to kill before some evening appointments so I decided to check out Olympic Garden for the first time. I'd never been but knew it was on the strip so I took the Duece to the 7-11 around the corner and walked in. As people have mentioned before, take the bus or have a cab drop you off at the 7-11 and walk the last block - it was free to get in but the lady at the door told me it would've been $30 had I shown up in a cab, even though it was my choice to go there. It was extremely dark inside and it took me about 5 minutes to adjust to the lights. There was no one dancing on stage when I got there and probably 5 or so customers and 15 or so girls, mainly all in one corner talking to each other. Because it was happy hour drink prices were very reasonable ($3.50/beer) so I sat at the bar and had a few beers. Pretty quickly the first girl came over and we went for a $20 dance in the booths off to the side. I didn't ask for a second, she didn't return with me and pretty quickly another girl came over. I went through this cycle with about 10 girls and it was a cheap way to have a few beers and check out all the different girls there. They varied from young and cute down to some old road weary ones that I had to send on their way. With one of the last girls, I went to the actual VIP which was $100 plus $40 for 2 drinks - it was not worth it given the happy hour drink specials and the fact the private booths are free during the day, but the girl tried to make up for that lack of value and succeeded. All in all it was a good trip and I'd be inclined to return in the daytime given the value there.
