While visiting Dayton I stopped by both Harem and the Living Room. I thought both were nice clubs though nothing unusual. Harem was much busier than the Living Room, but that might be because it was later in the evening and a smaller club. Harem was quite smokey while the Living Room wasn't. Value was a bit better for regular lap dances at Living Room in that the dancers charged $20 per song. At Harem, they also charged $20 per song but made me buy at least 3 songs. While I didn't go VIP on this trip, I was quoted $225 for half an hour at the Living Room, I was quoted $150 for half an hour at Harem.
In terms of facilities, the lap dances were more private at Living Room. They had separate couches that were divided from other couches. The couch I was on did have a big rip in it with a spring that stuck into my back the entire dance. At Harem the dances are done in a single room with benches all around the room. Having said that, the dances were about equally aggressive at both clubs. At both I got a solid lap dance with a decent grind, but nothing unexpectedly good.
In terms of dancer quality, both clubs had nice looking dancers overall. I think the dancers at the Living Room seemed more standard (i.e. fewer tattoos or piercings). I thought the stage show was decent at both clubs, but there were a couple dancers at the Living Room who provided great stage side value with nice interaction with those in the first row.
