I'm a chick who really loves this club. I even auditioned, got turned down, and I can't harbor hard feelings. The owner runs a tight ship and wants the best. (If you wanna get hired, don't come off as "green", know exactly what you're doing. Experience elsewhere will help ;) A good portion of the dancers have real talent, and looks and personalities to boot. High level of racial and stylistic diversity here. This is a wide, saloon-like club with no pole whatsoever, but stick around and you'll see displays of grace, poise and sensuality, raw attitude, strength and contortionism, and all-around satisfying performances on the one center stage. I appreciate some of the more elaborate sets; for instance, a lady dressed as a vampire and poured goblets of "blood" all over herself. Another night, she had candles around and poured the hot wax on her body. There were a couple of girls who cashed in on their Asian looks, starting out in pink fragrant kimonos. I got to see a nice chair dance as well. Will add that the lighting on stage is neat and enhances the show. A lot of dancers smile and seem like they're having fun with what they're doing. However, the fee a girl pays to work there runs $160, which seems kinda high but that's how these places run nowadays. Explains the very pushy girl my friend came across. She egged him to take out money from the ATM! But most are mature and professional if you turn down a dance. The dances I've received were great! No closed off areas, they take place in booths laid out in the outskirts, but still feel pretty private (to me anyway). The base price is $20, and I tip $5 or $10 (if we've had great conversation and/or the dance was awesome) They're topless, keeping their bottoms on, and they may touch you (not the other way around) I've seen from far away some sorta lazy-looking dances, but the ones I've had were spirited (I've been massaged...I even got lightly bit!) This is a female and couple-friendly place. For the most part. I recall sitting at the Meat Rack (tipping bar at stage edge), and a couple of girls didn't pay much if any attention to me. But then again, money beckons! I prefer seeing the whole package from a small distance anyways. On stage they end up all nude. A percentage are alternative-looking- tattoos and/or piercings. I'm not a big crotch-starer, so if one approaches I glance but mostly look up at her chest and face, or ass and legs. Lady patrons, just relax and smile! And tip!
What else can I say.. Clientele is certainly mixed, good number of older white guys, but all kinds of people really. The DJ is cool and fun. There have been nights where they give away free promotional stuff like shirts and watches. I like the bouncers. If you have a big bag or luggage you can check it with them. Attentive, professional wait staff. Drink prices are reasonable, $6 for beers or basic mixed drinks. They've got free snack mix at the bar to munch on. If you get really hungry though, there's a chance the grill dude will be set-up outside cooking up dogs and such (if it's summertime). Those run $6 each. I had a reindeer gyro, and wow... it was truly THE best gyro I've ever had. And I've been to NYC and had the authentic Greek stuff. Seriously, get a reindeer gyro and eat it while you hang out in front of the Great Alaskan Bush Company, watching taxis and Harleys pull in and out, while the midnight sun gently illuminates the sky. Glorious! Then go in and watch the dancers some more.
