I went there last February while in Vienna on business. Here in the U.S., we have to remember that the hobby is perfectly legal in Austria and these clubs are basically legal brothels. Maxim is the largest and heavily-advertised strip club/brothel in Vienna. I chose EXCESS! to get away from any potential encounter with a colleague.

There was no cover charge and you entered and made a right turn into the bar area. There was a desk near the door -- sort of a receptionist. She was an Austrian MILF who definitely wanted to grab a guy right off the bat. I resisted the temptation and went inside. There was a small stage with a stripper pole, but, while I was there, nobody entertained. There was a group of friends (male & female) who were obviously with each other.
