Although I typically frequent TMC, I went by Capital to check it out and compare. Several of the prior reviews on this site suggested that a better time might be had at Capital. Here's a comparison of the two places: the physical building looks better on the outside for Capital, though the interior is small. In comparison to TMC, it felt a little cramped though seating was available. Waitresses checked in frequently but were not intrusive. I visited on an offday -- a weekday early evening -- to see the vibe and the girls at the start of their shift. Maybe about 6-8 girls there, mostly 7s and 8s. One particularly memorable dancer was a brunette with curly hair; not easy to have a convo with but she did give a good dance. The dance area was smaller, more lit, and more public than TMC...not good qualities for those of us that like a little privacy. Mileage was not great with this particular dancer, though others may be better. The overall mood of the place was more dull than at TMC, and with a smaller selection of dancers. I don't regret having visited, but will be sticking with TMC for future outings in the Raleigh area.
