My wife and I visited the Lumber Yard on Friday night, to celebrate my birthday. The lumber Yard is a BYBO “totally nude” club. It is little dark and not at all fancy inside. But they have the best number of dancers, so we always find several dancers that fit our taste and the chairs & stools are comfortable. It is set up with three stages, on three different levels. They start dancers on the top stage and as the crowd grows, move those dancers to the lower two levels. The VIP dance area is also a little dingy, with black curtains separating “rooms”, making it impossible not to know what is going on in neighboring rooms.

Just as we arrived they were starting amateur night. Because the amateurs only dance on the top stage, there simply wasn’t enough seating for everyone to watch. Since we’d just arrived, we were out of luck and remained seated at the lower stage. From there we could watch the 7 amateurs as they prepared to dance, but could not see them as they danced. The emcees for amateur night seemed to think they were the stars of the show, and spent way too much time talking. (Note to them: Sorry guys, no one is there to see you!). It drug on so long that we actually talked about calling our cab, going to Minx and paying the cover there.

Eventually amateur night was over, and all three stages were utilized again. As always at The Lumber Yard, we found several of the dancers to be extremely attractive. Eventually we had a half hour private dance with a black girl who called herself Miss Washington. She was beautiful, easy to converse with, and provided a wonderful half hour for both of us. When we were done with our private dance, we were both ready to get back to our motel.
