I had a rare afternoon off, it was hot, so having a few beers and staring at girls seemed like a good idea. I haven't been to this place in years, I usually end up at Fritz's even though this place is closer and apparently has better girls. What I'd forgotten about is how cheap this place is. On Wednesdays, at least during the day, pints of hefeweizen are two bucks, and there's no cover during the day so this is a very economical place to go drinking.

I walked into the entry and there's a turnstyle there, but no one working so I try to get in and can't. Some burly security guy walks out and pats me down, then I'm allowed to enter. It was really bright outside and it was so dark inside I couldn't see. I go and stand by the bar to let my eyes adjust and order a beer. I handed the bartender a ten and she gives me eight ones back, and I tell her I think she made a mistake. She says she didn't. You can't get $2 pints of anything anywhere.

The bar is not very big and there are no seats at it, which is a little strange. The room is in decent shape, buts everything is red, and that makes it seem pretty dated. The stage isn't huge and its opposite the bar, most of the seating is off to the sides but nowhere is that far away from the stage. There is a dance area next to the bar.
