Was in town on business and...
Was in town on business and thought to forgo my usual $5 spot of L&L Southend and try out the Men's Club for a change of pace. The short end of it...it was a mistake. First the good. This club is definitely a step up for the Mal Entertainment clubs that I'm used to going to. I won't rehash the club details, but everything felt more plush, richer and comfortable. And the bathrooms were relatively clean. The ladies were also nice on average too. One or two really good lookers, but the lowest I saw was about a 6 so I would've been reasonably happy with almost anyone in the club.
OK, now here's where the bad starts. You know how if you lived in Charlotte and were used to paying $800/month rent for a one bedroom apartment and moved to New York and found out the rent for the same type place in a similar neighborhood would be somewhere around $3000/month you'd be aghast and couldn't conceive of how it could possibly be worth it? That's how I felt at the Men's Club. First off, different girls were quoting me different prices for dances which I don't like. Second, the minimum I got quoted was a 2 for $40 "special". I'm sorry, but $20 for just a topless, one-way touching, minimum contact dance was just not sitting well with me. I admit it. I've been spoiled. I'm used to fully nude, two-way touching, high contact dances for $10 (see definitely ATL and some SC clubs) and was sitting there appalled at this setup. I just couldn't bring myself to enjoy this club for my own personal reasons. I kept thinking about what I could've been spending this money on and it ruined it for me.
I'm not one to walk in and right back out without giving the club a chance either. Maybe these dance, despite what I saw during my observation period, would be worth $20/dance. So I waited for a clearly 8.5-9 blonde to saunter over my way (apologize but the whole experience has caused me to blank on the name) and I partook. And I was thoroughly disappointed. A dancer should never spend more time in front of you than touching you during a song. Point blank. After the first dance, I told her I needed more contact/intimacy/ego stroking, whatever, and of course she tried to upsell me on going to a more private area where I presume the loan officers were waiting to tell me the terms of financing another couple of dances.
