They have been advertising no cover...
They have been advertising no cover until the end of July, however there there was a $20 parking fee. If you're coming with a group, this wouldn't be that bad of a deal, but for me it was effectively a $20 cover. There were about 5-7 vehicles in the lot and behind the building. There wasn't a lot attendent or valet (on Wednesday), I was told about the fee as I entered the door. The only other place nearby to park is the Onala AA hangout next door. I didn't want to take my chances by parking in the 'sober' lot to go drink.
After I paid my parking fee, I entered the main room, and noticed it was empty, no customers, no dancers. I figured I had just been swindled out of $20. They have just about any kind of beer you'd like for free, as long as you like Bud Light or Yuengling served in 10oz plastic cup. The Yuengling actually tasted fine, hopefully the keep the tap and lines clean. I tipped the cute bartender a buck for the beer and took a seat. After a few minutes the DJ called a dancer to the stage, and within the next 10-30 minutes 3 other customers showed up.
As far as the layout the club. When you enter, there is a little entrance room where the door guy was. All you can really see from there is the hallway that leads to the main room. In the hallway on either side are doors to the restrooms. As soon as you enter the main room, there is the bar, with no chairs, just standing room. There is a stage about 20-25 feet long against the wall with about 10-12 chairs. If you are sitting at it, it's about eye level, probably about a foot higher than it should ideally be. On the opposite side from the stage there are what look to be about 4-5 VIP party booths, raised about 3 feet. In between the stage and the VIP, are about 15-20 semi-circular armchairs arranged in U shape facing the stage. Inside the area of the chairs are about 5 table with 4 chairs each. Just about every wall or surface was painted black. The only exceptions were the mirrors behind the stage, and the various neon or LED lights, or lighted surfaces like the bar which was backlighted in blue. The mensroom was clean, thought it looks to be set up to have a troll working on weekend nights.
