The club isn't much to look...
The club isn't much to look at for sure. The night I was there (6-9 PM) there were two dancers working, and the bartender, who was also dancing because of the shortage of dancers. The two dancers were both young and to be quite honest, both of their attitudes seemed to indicate that both were pissed about something. My time was spent getting to know the bartender, who was very outgoing and intelligent, and seemed to like what she was doing. The other two did not seem to be enjoying themselves at all, and strangly enough neither took off all their clothes on stage. Now granted the place was kind of empty, but still, it is a strip club. Someone needs to tell strippers that this is one of the reasons guys come in and throw away ridiculous amounts of money, to see women kind of undressed. Having said that, my time spent with the bartender, who we shall call Elvira was extremely enjoyable, and talking to her was almost as much fun as the two dances I had her do before I left. The dances were very enjoyable and there was freedom to not only see but touch. My 20 dollars to get in was a good deal, and I left having enjoyed myself immensely. The club is the only one within hours of Roanoke, but it is a neat place. It's the only place I've seen a stripper work to a Johnny Cash song. The music was much to my liking, as I prefer old rock stuff to the rap crap which is played at so many places. I would go back.
