Well, I drove up to Topeka...

Well, I drove up to Topeka to check out the newly refurbished CO. Club sits along the south side of I-70 (exit 353) and they have a searchlight that you can see at night.

For those not in the know, CO had a fire last November which shut it down for a couple of months. I came in on Monday (2/16). Not much different from the outside, but on the inside, WOW things have upscaled a bit. The colorful chairs upholstered with the fancy designs have been replaced with plain grey ones (same style). There is a more LD friendly armless version at stage seats and along the walls. $10 dances are usually done in these. Stage layout (3 stages) is the same as before. The shower stage is gone, which I don't really miss because it was in a corner and so hard to see from most of the seats.

In the VIP area there are these incredibly soft black mini-couches. You can buy a card for $10 for all night access back there. Dances in VIP are $20, and well worth the money. A champagne room added but it is apparently $200/hour. I didn't even ask, as I was plenty happy with VIP and bought nine dances from two sweet and friendly ladies.
