I made an overdue trip to...

I made an overdue trip to the Trophy Club recently. I did see some new faces this time, and of course some of the regulars. After a rocky start at this club years ago, it feels almost like a hometown "Cheers" bar now. Still free admission and cheap drinks during the daytime hours.

As usual, I settled myself at the bar and got my normal drink without asking. One of the "old timers" came over, I bought her a shot, and we caught up as much as a customer/dancer can do. On this day, there were probably 5 dancers and about as many customers, which seems to be the norm here anymore. I got a few $25 couch dances (the club takes $5 per so the dancers have added that to their fee) which were pretty decent even if over priced. I have not hit the VIP rooms since they took the curtains down and I'm not sure I've seen anyone else go back there either. That seems to me to be a lose-lose for everybody, but I'm sure there was a good reason for it.

This is still my favorite club in the area even as the revolving doors of dancers change.
