I decided to take a stroll...

I decided to take a stroll down US1 to check out a club on the south side of Miami that I hadn't been to yet. Every once and a while it's nice to get out of the usual rotation and find something new. I was hoping for something a little less Miami and I think I found it.

I arrived around 10pm on a Friday and noticed an empty lot out front near the street and also a valet guy by the door. Wanting to be a gentlemen and save my money for the ladies - I opted for the self-parking. The security/bouncer out front was probably the nicest employee I met all night; he provided me a greeting opened the door and gave me a fist bump. A proper stripclub welcome. Cover was around $6 to get in that particular night. The front desk also seems to sell cigars.

THE BAR - Went over to the bar to the left of the entrance and ordered a drink. It looked like a frat party behind the bar. A giant wooden table with cheap booze instead of a real bar. The drinks however were full price just like everywhere else - maybe even more expensive then my usual haunts. They were asking for $11-12 a drink. A dancer came and asked if she could sit with me - I of course said sure. I asked her if she'd like a drink and the bartender made her some frozen drink. She said it had no alcohol and asked if the bartender could add a shot or something to it. It was basically a $12 shitty slurpee. The bartender proceeded to chew her out in front of me. This made me uneasy that the staff treats the dancers this way and also that the bartender pours fake drinks at full price. She basically said "You're not supposed to do that in front of customers!". The bar was sketchy.
