After a disappointing visit to Flight Club (unrealistic prices!) and Bogarts (the air conditioning was broken on a steamy day), I stopped by Henry VIII which is within a mile of the other two clubs that I visited in Inkster. A card from my earlier stop at its sister club, Bogarts, got me free admission to Henry VIII. The club has a couple of stages, one of which was in use by one of the five dancers. At least the club was air conditioned and the beer was cold. I had heard some encouraging reports of improved talent at Henry VIII but I must have caught an "off" day. The club featured about 3 AA dancers and 2 fair skinned dancers but mostly thicker bodies. I was approached by one of the more attractive ebony skinned dancer. A short conversation and a lengthy stripper handshake convinced me to try out the VIP area. A $10 wrist band gets you access to an area with a series of phone booth sized cubicles containing a padded metal chair. Each booth is adorned with a burlap, translucent curtain for semi-privacy. Turns out the quoted $100 for all the fun activities that we discussed at my table was a mislead--- my dancers wanted more for the entire menu so I terminated our session after three songs and left. Never been a fan of misleading quotes and upsells.

The place feels like a dive neighborhood bar with strippers who are plying their trade (mostly trips to the VIP). Drink prices are a bit high (domestic beer was about $7) but there was no parking attendant charge. If you like thicker women, you can have some fun here.
