This was an interesting club. Its situated in the country, about 20 minutes outside of Akron, which isn't even much of a city... Which makes the club kind of odd in that it felt a bit "urban". That was unexpected. As far as quality of the establishment, it seemed well managed. It could feel cleaner, but theres something to be said for a little grit... This isn't a church we're going to after all. BYOB is a really nice bonus. You'll pay for ice or mixers, standard BYOB rules basically. Cover was $10, but I got in for half because I said pumperknickle at the door - this is mentioned on their facebook page to get a discount. Music and the DJ were alright - I heard what I'd expect to hear in a roughly average strip club.
The dancers were a large part of the urban feel. A lot of thicker ladies. Most looked a bit rough. Not many options for fit girls; if you are familiar with Christie's in Cleveland, this is not that. I got the impression this wasn't just an off night, but that the club just takes what it can get... Christie's has slow nights too, but there have always been at least a couple top tier ladies when I've visited in the past. The girls were friendly, some mildly pushy, but with the looks they were sporting they may have to try a bit harder to sell what they are pushing. Of course, this comes with a couple benefits as well. Chics that can knock down a few hundred bucks a night by walking around with their tits out and just shaking them now and again have a pretty good deal without putting extra effort in... On the other side, like here at Roxy's, a few of these girls were the type to go the extra mile to make ends meet. I give an A for extra effort. In light of this, private rooms are recommended to get the job done right.
So all said, I would go back. It isn't top tier or classy, but it has some favorable grit and "other" redeeming hospitality features.
