My first visit to Mirage, which...

My first visit to Mirage, which was formerly The Gold Club -- which closed down over year ago, but has recently reopened in the former Harper's II location . . . it's like strip club musical chairs in Greensboro.

I was passing through Greensboro on the way back from an early morning business trip and decided to stop at Mirage (you can see it from I-40) around 1 PM for lunch and a view. The parking lot had a few cars, but clearly these belonged to the staff and dancers because the club was dead -- When I arrived there was one other customer and he left shortly afterwards. I was there just about two hours and during that time three other customers arrived, but when I left, there was just one other customer there.

The layout of the club is pretty standard. You enter through double glass doors into a small lobby where you show your ID and pay a $5 membership fee if you are not a member already, otherwise there is no cover during the day; there is one after 7 pm, but not sure how much.
