Visited Penthouse on two Fridays in the same month and was very disappointed. On the plus side, they have finally renovated the private dance area. The booths are new and seem cleaner. They also have new VIP booths with nice leather couches and are slightly more private than the regular booths. The staff is as friendly as ever, from the girl at the door to the security guy up at the private dance area. Beyond that, the food is decent and the drink prices are about what you'd expect at a strip club.

Now for the bad. On both Fridays, I was shocked at the dancer quality. This used to be one of the better clubs. However, it now seems that most of the dancers are overweight, well-over thirty, and heavily tattooed. On my first visit, there was not a single dancer I would rank above a 5. On my second visit, the options were even worse. To their credit, the dancers were friendly and all graciously accepted my refusal for a private dance. But with that said, not sure what's going on with the club's hiring decisions. Probably the worst line-ups I have ever seen. Next time I decide to hit up a club, I'll probably just go to one of the other VCG clubs, showclub or centerfolds.
