Some friends and I stopped by...

Some friends and I stopped by Ken's Tuesday night for the first time in a while, and I was blown away by the number of girls that were working on a weeknight. There had to have been at least 25 girls and there were probably not more than a dozen guys if that many. As usual, 90% of the girls were hotter than anything you'll find anywhere else in Nashville, and they've hired some new girls since my last visit. Unfortunately one guy was hogging a lot of the prime talent. This guy had anywhere from 4 to 6 of the hottest girls (Pandora, Layla, Desiree from Stephanie's, and a few new girls whose names I don't know) sitting with him the whole time I was there. At one point he had one sitting in his lap, his arm around another, and two or three more huddled around waiting to take their place as soon as they went on stage. There were two hot girls (customers, not dancers) that came in and within a few minutes this guy even had them sitting with him. I didn't see him throwing around a lot of money so I don't know what he had going for him that nobody else in the place had, but whatever it is I want some of it.

On a normal night I would have been pissed off that one guy was scarfing all the goods, but like I said, there were so many girls working that girls like Toni, Carly, Kara and others were still available so why complain? If there was anything to complain about it was the fact that many of the girls obviously didn't bring their "A" game last night. Layla hung out with that one guy for a while then changed clothes and left. Toni looked as good as ever and was talking to some guys, but didn't seem like she was real interested in being there. A couple of the girls never even got out of their seats to see if anyone wanted a dance when they had the 2-for-1 times so they obviously weren't into it. One brunette whose name I didn't catch sat with me for a few minutes, never asked my name or introduced herself, and spent most of that time complaining because there were so many girls there that nobody was going to make any money. She said that she would have left but that she still had to sell more drinks or she would have to pay for them herself. I wasn't interested in listening to her complain so when the waitress came by I waved her off so she got up and left. My friends weren't getting much attention from the girls either so we just drank and watched the stage show. When we finished our beer we packed up and hit the road. On the way home the other guys all said that the girls they talked to were complaining too.

I rated this place a 6 for this visit even though it wasn't that great of an experience. I probably would have given this place a lower rating if it weren't for the fact that there were just so damn many babes there. I only saw one girl on stage twice while I was there and every single girl I saw was worth the cover charge. Unfortunately some girls that have gotten by on looks alone in the past are finding that there's more competition now. It was obvious that some of the girls are jealous of the new talent and it's hurting their attitudes a little. I normally spend a pretty good bit of money when I'm in a club, but this was one of the few times I've ever walked out of Ken's without spending much. I wasn't interested in getting a dance from someone who obviously wasn't interested in giving one and that was the impression I got from a lot of the girls last night. The only ones who seemed to be having a good time and were into their jobs were hanging out with that one guy and rarely left his table unless it was to go on stage or to go upstairs with him. I did see Desiree give a couple of dances to other guys, but as soon as she was through it was back to the "little clique" (as I heard one dancer who didn't hide the fact that she jealous because she wasn't sitting at that table call it). I don't know if any of the girls from Ken's ever check out this site, but if so please take a word of advice and leave the drama and jealousy behind. When there are a lot of hot girls, the ones with the best personality are going to get the majority of the money. Lighten up and act like you enjoy your job and most guys will be happy to part with a little money.
