The Gold Club and its neighbor, Pure Platinum are in Oakland Park which is on the edge of Fort Lauderdale. Fort Lauderdale, for all of its history as the spring break capitol of Florida, does not allow strip clubs within its borders. That is why Pompano Beach has several and these two clubs are in Oakland Park. However, I highly recommend both of these clubs. The woman are very classy looking and management requires them to wear long dresses which adds a sexiness that I find excellent. Almost all of the dancers are tall and thin so the long gowns look great on them. The stage is good size and has fairly high poles so some of the girls demonstrate amazing acrobatic skills. There is a bar in the center of the club. Tables dances can be had either at the plush chairs behind the bar or private areas near the stage. If you go in once, you can usually pick up some cards for free entrance at another time. Military always get in free. The Gold Club opens at noon but Pure Platinum doesn't open until 5 PM. If you are in Fort Lauderdale, these two clubs are worthwhile. They aren't as big as some of the Miami clubs but the intimacy is enjoyable. Check them out.
