I took a trip to Solids...

I took a trip to Solids after a couple of years sabbatical and was pleased with what I encountered. Solids is a downtown bar and was/is somewhat known to having the cops visit the joint. While that probably keeps the club a little 'cleaner' than what most guys would like, I think the relative-restrictions on groping n’stuff makes for a classier --can you really say classier in a nudie bar?-- night out. I dropped in around 8-ish and there was almost nobody there. That isn't really unusual so early in the night. I stepped out, got some dinner, and when I came back, around 9:30, the place was about three quarters full. The dancers started to hit the floor and by 10 there must have been close to 25 or so girls. There was a full selection of talent. Your into cocaine-thin models, Solids has them. Hot single-moms, yup. Want a little booty for push'n, they got that too. From white to black (only two that I saw) to mulatto, I wasn't wanting for options. One of the other reviewers of the club said that the other London clubs are more ‘regular-hang-outs,’ meaning that its sometimes hard to get a girl to talk to you if you’re not a regular visitor that they recognize. That's a pretty fair representation, although, its not like they’ll turn down a drink offer or invite to a private dance, from my experience. That said, due to Solids always seeming to attract girls from out-of-town, the whole ‘regular visitor hang-ups’ aren't as prevalent. The club is both long and narrow. As a result, getting from one end to the other is sometimes a chore. Its not really too much of an issue though --the full bar's at one end and a beer cooler was at the other end when I was there. Dances: I took a cute little blond and a cute little brunette to the VIP, both in their early to mid-twenties and both whose names I completely forget --SORRY. The two girls were excellent as far a value per dollar. If you're looking for sex, you're probably out of luck at this club. Nevertheless, I left the bar in a happier mood than when I walked in. All in all, I'd recommend Saturday nights at Solids. From previous experience, the rest of the week tends to be hit or miss when it comes to the talent selection.
