I arrived at Pleasers @ 6...

I arrived at Pleasers @ 6 on a Monday evening with the intention of just staying for a couple of drinks and LDs to wind down after work; I ended up staying until @ 10 because I was enjoying myself so much.

PHYSICAL LAYOUT OF CLUB:

Pleasers in a black club just off I-85 in a rundown area of Atlanta. I've always found parking easy and free. Cover was $10. The club itself is relatively small with a L shaped main stage in the middle of the club, a bar with about 12-15 seats around it, a couple of pool tables beyond the bar on the way to the restroom. There are a collection of high top and low top tables and couches scattered around the floor along with a couple of couches next to the stage that seem to be some kind of open VIP/bottle service area (don't know what it costs or what upgrades you get for sitting there). There are 2 curtained cubicles against the back wall that serve as VIP rooms (prices are $30-$40 to the club and whatever you negotiate with the dancer...I've gotten FULL service there twice with the same honey for $100-$120 (didn't partake on this visit though). There is a DJ who does a good job (i.e., plays music for the dancers to twerk, shake and grind to...period! Like a good waitress, a good DJ means a guy who does his job well without being noticed). Mirrored walls make the club seem a little bigger than it is. Drink prices = $5 domestic beers, $6 imports, mixed drinks $8 and up with good bar service. I ran a tab while there to keep my cash for LDs and stage tips.
