Yet another visit to Rick's. Once...
Yet another visit to Rick's. Once I found a good thing, it's hard to try something else, especially if what I found is also highly recommended by everyone else.
This was a good experience overall, also the upsell at the very end spoiled it just a bit. I went during the day shift, around 1:30pm. As always, $10 cover + $5 soda (mandatory) + $1 tip for the soda = $16 to walk in. A little steep, but not horrible.
The selection of dancers was, unfortunately, worse than usual. Some were a little heavy, a couple had bad boob jobs (really bad), some were just plain not very good looking. After seating there for 30 minutes and not seeing anyone I liked, I had a little hotty ask me if I wanted a dance. She did not do stage performances for some reason, because I saw all girls rotate twice, and she was never on the stage. I said “maybe a little later”, hoping she would do a stage dance to see what her attitude is like. Well, she didn’t, so when she asked me again 15-20 minutes later, I agreed and off we went to the VIP area. She asked me if I was there before and what kind of dance I wanted - $30 or $40. I told her to start with a $30. She did, and it was pretty darn good. I got to see, and not just to see, everything – and I mean everything. So at the end of the dance I was completely satisfied. When I was paying all of a sudden she told me that it really was a $40 dance, even though we agreed on $30. I didn’t like that a whole lot, but she was the only good-looking girl in the place, and it was one of the best dances I’ve gotten there. So I went ahead and paid the asked amount, mentioning that it wasn’t as agreed, but I would give her a $10 tip.
