a few coworkers and I headed to pure gold on a Tuesday night by cab. We paid you $15.00 cover / membership charge and made our way to the bar. We were happy to see the specials were $2 Jager bombs and $2 Coors lights. Perfect for watching Game six of the Spurs heat series and checking out the entertainment in the club. Our group of 4 wound up hanging out in the bar area the entire night. Good view of the main stage and plenty of girls seem to walk around and approaches us. girls were friendly without being overly pushy. Our group had a few dances with mixed results. The bouncer guarding the private dancer area definitely walked up and down to make sure everything happening was on the up and up. Dances were generally friendly and not bad for the money but not great. As we were leaving we did see someone near the main stage getting it a fairly aggressive dance from a attractive thin girl. we were impressed by that. Funny thing to end the night might have been the fact our cab driver had been hanging out in the club for an hour right before we left. Overall a good experience, made better by the cheap drinks.
