This was once my favorite club...
This was once my favorite club in Louisville. It never tried to be a high class club, but was always a step above the dives located just a short couple blocks away on 7th Street. And once they got to know you here, the dances could be just as fun as anywhere else in the city, with attractive dancers.
I fear the ordinance is finally taking its toll on several clubs, this one especially. The odd thing about the new ordinance is that it hurts classier clubs more than the dives. The dives on 7th street continue to make money just like they always have providing the same services as always, but clubs like PT's, Trixies, and Foxy Lady (although this club is not in the same category as those first two) depended on customers who came just for drinks and to look at beautiful women. People just aren't going to do that if they are wearing bikini's. Anyway, I digress.
I went here here last week after work in the early evening for a couple of drinks and a few beers. Just like the last time I was here, however, there were no dancers. Initially, there were zero. But a few might have been in the back, as a couple came out as I was getting ready to leave. They were OK looking, but having already finished two beers with no entertainment, I was ready to leave. This is the second time I have come here and they had very few dancers. Like I said, its getting harder and harder to make money at these clubs under the new ordinance. Sad to see my once favorite club go like this. I hope they turn it around.
