My first visit to this club,...

My first visit to this club, so I was at a disadvantage. I couldn't just blend in and take it all in since I was only one of about five customers all night. I arrived around 9:30pm and it appeared as though the girls were coming in between 9 and 10. The dancer selection was average to say the least with mostly young, skinny, white girls. I didn't see any plastic surgery amongst them. Generally they had cute faces, but if it's curves you're looking for, look elsewhere. The club layout and ambiance is nice with one large bar and two pole stages, although only one stage was used all night. And there seemed to be a lot of down time in between dancers. Luckily there's lots of TVs around there's an outdoor smoking patio where the girls seem to congregate a lot. They have a cook on site, but the menu is a handwritten 8x11 sheet of paper. WTF? They can't even print it out on a printer? Even so, I ordered some food and it was surprisingly good. One of the best things about this club was the waitress, Stephanie. She was top notch both in looks and personality. The management should do everything to keep her. The drink menu though was pretty poor. They didn't have any Vermouth or olives, so making my dirty martini proved challenging. And the pours were pretty shallow given the $12 cost.

Let's talk about the dances and the dancers. They have private dance areas behind one of the stages. Although not totally private, no one seemed to check up during the dances and they can apparently be topless or nude (same price?). The first dance is pre-pay to the doorman and then others can be negotiated in the back. But $40 is the most I've ever paid for a LD! They were doing 3-for-1's during the night but the dancers must not like to do them. No one asked me during those times. The pressure to get dances is very low and it seems that you need to do some stage tipping to get their attention. You'd think with the slow nite, I would have gotten more attention but I'm chalking it up to the fact that I was an obvious Newby to the club. I did get dances from Sierra, a young thin brunette who was probably the best looking of the bunch. Although a decent LD, she seemed a little mechanical for my taste. My second go round was with Nicole, a blondie with a couple of kids. She was certainly more energetic, but a lot of her dance was facing away from me, a bit of a pet peeve of mine. Neither Sierra or Nicole were strong enough to convince me to roll the dice in the VIP room which was quoted as $150 for a half hour and $300/hr.

So in summary, the club was nice, food was good, drinks were overpriced and skimpy, girls were skinny with very low pressure, and the dances were some of the most expensive in the country. Given some of the other reviews of other area clubs, I'm not sure there's anything better in the Louisville area. I'll probably be back next time I'm in town but I'm hopeful that repetition will serve me better on the next visit.
