I have been at this club...

I have been at this club for a few months now and absolutely love it. Bouzouki is one of perhaps two or three of Detroit's "cleaner" clubs. It's around the corner from two different People Mover stops with a casino across the street and a nightclub next door. There is no mandatory valet parking, however a parking lot is next door to the building. No cover charge to the club before 6pm, after 6pm it's only $6. It does look a little ragged and decrepit inside, but it has been confirmed by the management that a (slow) renovation will be done with the club. New poles were recently installed and there is word that the carpet will soon be replaced. This club was once a belly dancing club and there are still remnants of what it used to be as can be seen inside. I believe upper booths are $20. There are two champagne rooms that can be rented out, but I am uncertain of prices. A lot of bachelor parties come through on Fridays and Saturdays (we really hate hot seats).

The managers try to stay as by-the-book as possible. Dances are $20 each song. Couples dances are welcome (and fun!). We specialize in providing blue balls and leave it up to you to finish yourself off later. The VIP areas are wide open rooms with rugged, old (yet some are still comfy) chairs and couches. These are being replaced soon I've heard. There are absolutely no extras allowed and if someone is caught with their stuff out, they are thrown out immediately. If a girl is caught doing anything "illegal", she is fired immediately (and sometimes reported to the police). There are some girls who are super prudes and will not allow you to touch their breasts in VIP. Personally, I feel if you are paying for a dance to see boobs up close, why not touch them? I will tolerate anything in a dance except for biting and pinching of breasts and (club rules) fingering or showing me your junk. It's best to ask your selected dancer what is and is not okay in VIP before agreeing to go so you are not let down.

As for the dancers go, we are of all ages. I believe the oldest girl is in her early 40s and the youngest is 18. There is a girl for a wide variety of shapes and heights. There are plenty of African American and Caucasian girls. The one Asian girl we had working was fired I heard.

If you are staying in downtown while visiting, I've heard some of the girls will do out calls, but that's why hearsay from a few questionable dancers.

If you are looking for extras, go to the Cobra Club a few blocks away. If you are looking to just have some cheap and honest fun, come hang out with us. It really is a fun place. But we only ask that you don't take photos.... I've seen customer phones smashed by staff and other dancers. Plus, it's rude and disrespectful anyway as some of us (such as myself) are currently making a living off of dancing.
