We visited this club a few...
We visited this club a few weeks ago since we enjoyed our visit to Playhouse's sister club Volcanic Eruption in Mays Landing. Unfortunately, we were honestly disappointed, though this may be due to bad timing on our part. First, lets describe the layout. From the main door, there is a very long square-shaped bar which surrounds two stages split at the center of the bar. We arrived around 4pm or so, NOT a good time to arrive on a Saturday. While they have the two stages, they were having to yell and scream at the girls to even get *1* on the stage for about the first 30-40 minutes. Several of the girls from the day shift were either just sitting around in their street clothes, waiting to leave, or actually just up & left without the manager &/or DJ knowing. After a little while, the girls did end up dancing, using both halves of the stage. They also finally began making the rounds of the patrons, but mostly they seemed to stop at their regulars. We were there probably about 90 minutes or so total before we gave up, and in that time, other than the bartender upon our entering, the only person who spoke to us at all was one girl who asked if we wanted a private dance... she said it was her first time working the club too, as it was our first to visit. We declined, only because we'd just decided to leave just before she came by.
All in all, the girls were fairly pretty, though can't say how friendly they were/weren't. We MIGHT go back to the club & give it another try at some point, as we have heard some very good things about it. Still, we have definitely decided that we're more comfortable generally with Volcanic Eruption. If nothing else, VE has some regular chairs, as well as barstools, and the regular chairs are MUCH better for our backs.
