A repeat visit to Bogarts after...

A repeat visit to Bogarts after a great and very successful first visit. Despite the worn down look of the place from the outside, the inside is surprisingly friendly and laid back...not fancy, but not sleazy either. I visited on a Tuesday night which is $10 dollar dance night. The waitresses are on you pretty quick once you pay the cover and get your minimum drink ticket, and while they never really leave you alone, they are decent and good to talk to.

Dancers are hit or miss. Lots on the lower end of the scale, although none completely scary like my first visit, and most in the 5-7 category. After getting a look at the lineup, I had my eye on a cute brunette with decent sized C's and tipped $5 to let her know to stop by....unfortunately she told me that she had someone waiting for her as soon as she got off stage...bummer. Time was running out on the evening as I had to catch a flight out of DTW, when an even cuter brunette (who could have held her own across theatre at the upscale flight club) stopped by. I honestly couldn't believe my luck. A brief chat was punctuated by an invite to a private dance which was eagerly accepted. $10 to the dance guy, and away we go to the largest of the curtained cubby holes that serve as the private dance area...no problem though...I was not there for the decor. Brief dance turned to negotiations, which has me leaving $ lighter and fully amazed and the mileage that bought.
