Sammys in Homewood is a great club to visit in the Birmingham area at any time of the week. I have frequented Sammys many times at different times of the day but this past Friday was by far the best. My buddy was getting married on Saturday and some of the guys decided to take him out for one last hoorah before he got married. We pulled into the parking lot and the lot was full, fuller than any other time I had been during the week. We paid the cover ($8) and proceeded into the building. The group of us four found a table, which was rather difficult because of the crowd. We then started to scout out the dancers that were working. Some of them were familiar from the weekdays but some were "the big guns" and were sexy as hell. One of the guys I was with ordered us a round of bud lights ($3 a piece) and gave me some cash to play around with. From my standpoint all the women in there were very talented and beautiful. They had a variety of light skinned, dark skinned, thick, thin, etc. Pretty much what anyone would want. They had enough dancers to go around for everyone even with the place as busy as it was. Lighting and music werent a problem where u could hear each other talk and could see what you came for. After a little time in front of the stage I picked me a dark skinned girl who had caught my eye to give me a private dance. Private dances were $20 for about 10 minutes. Lets just say it was worth every dime and more and if she wasnt as busy Id gotten more. All in all, my time at Sammys that night was worth every dime. Great atmosphere and beautiful women everywhere.
