Swung by on a Monday mid-afternoon, turned down the waitress offer for a table, and shuffled to the right to enter the bar area, to let my eyes adjust from the Texas sunlight. Grabbed a g&t for $6.25 and discovered that the $3 for any drink deal is only during happy hour, from 5-8. Still, not a bad price for a good pour. I took a seat at a tabletop in the bar area and surveyed the scene.

Only the main stage had dancers parading through, with girls looks ranging 4-7. As previous reviewers have stated, most of the dancers in the club were preoccupied in corners/along the walls with regulars, and they were almost all of the 6-7 variety, as they strolled into the bar area to take a break and chat with other dancers. Within 5 minutes of my sitting at a table, a pretty AA dancer strolled up and said hello, with two drinks in her hand, which she polished off before perching on a bar stool at my table. The ladies here seemed perfectly fine with relaxing, chatting, hanging out and drinking, with no pressure for dances at all. And that's what Monica and I did for the next hour+ -- along with going up together to tip girls on stage who she liked (and she had good taste) -- up until I needed to leave to catch blues happy hour over at Antone's. Monica was enjoying the drinks I was buying her enough that she agreed to hang out for an hour past her regular departure time, for my promised return later that evening. And, sure enough, a soon-to-come review will be for a Monday evening.

For sitting back with cheap drinks while seeing topless chicks strut, Expose is a nice place to pass the afternoon/early evening hours. I'd recommend arriving shortly before 5, rather than 3-ish, like I did. I'm sure I'll be back another day/week soon.
