Didn't have high expectations when I walked in, Newark doesn't actually have any strip clubs. All the "gentleman's clubs" are go go bars with bikini dancers. Still, I had hoped for maybe a little more skin on display and maybe a little contact if tips were generous, maybe even a private dance area. First disappointment was before I even entered the building. Some homeless crackhead opened the door for me and acted like he expected a tip. Same crackhead still waiting by the door when I left, walked with me to where I parked my car, (on the street) and acted like he was bar security keeping an eye on the patrons cars, again obviously expecting a tip. The bar itself is a tiny, old worn out shithole with uncomfortable 50 year old furniture. The DJ was the bartender with ADD browsing through her iphone. Play one song, spend a couple minutes flipping through her playlist until she found another song she liked, repeat over and over again. There were 5 or 6 dancers there, and three were only interested in their "regulars", not even making eye contact with anyone else. The other dancers sat at the bar or by a table in the back and didn't even interact with the customers. I was there less than 30 minutes, just long enough to drink my beer, and got the hell out. Total waste of time, wouldn't even go back just to have a beer after work.
