Deja Vu in downtown Seattle is right next to the Pike Place Market. There are two entrances - a back alley entrance that's dirty but not -too- dirty, and an entrance that's right on 1st avenue. Either way, you're going to be noticed going in - no subtlety here.
Once you're inside the club, you either go up some steps or through the porn shop and up the steps (depending on how you get in,) and you're greeted by the bouncers at the top. You can peek into the club from there, but you're not likely to get much time to eyeball the dancers before you're "politely asked" to either pay or GTFO. Cover is $20, split between a $10 "drink" charge (if I remember right) and a $10 cover. "Free" passes are occasionally handed out on 1st, which gets you in for half-price.
Inside the club, there are two stages, separated by a dividing wall. The stage you see as you go in is the most-used, while the "auxiliary" stage (as I call it) seems to be more for dancers to practice or warm up on. You're welcome to watch or tip on either stage, but the back stage won't always have a girl. Stage shows are usually set up as sets of 3 songs per girl.
